Terms & Conditions

Crafted Connections is operated by Crafted Living LTD ("Crafted Connections", "we", "us"). By creating an account or continuing to use Crafted Connections, you agree to these Terms & Conditions and enter into a contract with Crafted Living LTD. If you use Crafted Connections on behalf of a business, you confirm you have authority to bind that business; if you use it as an individual, you confirm you are at least 18 years old.

Crafted Connections is a marketplace built exclusively for the construction, property and landscaping trades: it helps tradespeople, sole traders, subcontractors, contractors, trade businesses, trade suppliers and clients discover each other, connect and message about potential work. We provide the platform only: we are not a party to any agreement, quote or job arranged between members, and we do not vet, employ or endorse any member. You are responsible for checking qualifications, insurance and references before entering into any work.

You must provide accurate information and keep it up to date. You are responsible for keeping your login credentials confidential and for all activity under your account. We grant you a limited, non-exclusive, non-transferable right to use Crafted Connections within the plan you have selected.

You must not misuse Crafted Connections. In particular, you must not:

• use the service for anything unlawful, fraudulent or deceptive, including spam or fake listings;
• infringe anyone's intellectual property, or post content you have no right to share;
• interfere with the security or operation of the service, including introducing malware, probing or scanning our systems, or scraping the service;
• reverse engineer, resell or redistribute the service, or circumvent technical limits;
• harass, abuse or mislead other members.

You retain ownership of the photos, descriptions and other content you post. You grant Crafted Living LTD a limited licence to host, process and display that content solely to operate and provide the service. You are responsible for your content and must have the rights to share it.

Crafted Living LTD retains all ownership of Crafted Connections itself, including the software, design, documentation and branding. Nothing in these terms transfers any of that to you.

Client and homeowner accounts are free and never require a subscription. Paid features are optional and only for trade accounts. They include the Crafted Connections Pro subscription and Boost purchases, and are sold through our online reseller Paddle. Our order process is conducted by our online reseller Paddle.com. Paddle.com is the Merchant of Record for all our orders. Paddle provides all customer service inquiries and handles returns.

Payment, billing, tax, cancellation and refund mechanics are governed by Paddle's Buyer Terms. The first 1,000 trade accounts to complete registration with a confirmed email receive 12 months of Pro free and a permanent Founding Member badge. The badge recognises early support only and is not a professional accreditation. Referral rewards: when someone you invite completes registration, they receive 7 days of Pro and you earn Pro time at milestones (1 referral: 7 days; 3: 1 month; 10: 3 months). Self-referrals, duplicate or fake accounts don't qualify, no more than 20 referrals count in any 30 days, and we may withdraw rewards obtained unfairly. Reward time is added after any free founding period ends. Pro features apply to trade accounts only. Pro subscriptions renew automatically until cancelled; you can cancel at any time via the Manage billing option on the Pro page. Boosts are one-off purchases that promote a listing for a fixed period and do not renew.

We work hard to keep Crafted Connections available, but we do not guarantee uninterrupted or error-free performance. The service is provided "as is" and we disclaim all implied warranties (including merchantability and fitness for a particular purpose) to the fullest extent permitted by law.

We may suspend or terminate your access if you materially breach these terms, fail to pay amounts due, pose a security or fraud risk, or repeatedly or seriously violate our policies. When access ends, your listings and messages may be deleted after a reasonable period; you may contact us before termination to request an export of your content.

To the fullest extent permitted by law, we are not liable for indirect, consequential or special damages (including loss of profits, data or goodwill), nor for the conduct, work or omissions of any member. Our aggregate liability to you is capped at the fees you paid us in the 12 months before the claim. Nothing in these terms excludes liability for fraud, death or personal injury where the law does not allow it.

These terms are governed by the laws of England and Wales, and the courts of England and Wales have exclusive jurisdiction. You may not assign these terms without our consent; we may assign them in connection with a merger or acquisition. We are not liable for failures caused by events beyond our reasonable control. If any part of these terms is unenforceable, the rest remains in effect.
